Finding your vacancy in the Private Market Vacancy Report If your vacancy is listed in the Private Market Vacancy Report, you can go to the vacancy report downloads and look for your vacancy. Because the report can be very long, it can be difficult to find your vacancy. We suggest the following steps:

Rent limits and Section 8 Vouchers Vacancies should be under HousingLink's rent limits listed in the PDF file provided below. Possible exceptions include:

Please contact us if you have questions about how to do this. These rent limits are based on the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD's) Fair Market Rent (FMR) limits for the Twin Cities metropolitan area and Minnesota Housing (MHFA) Section 42 rent limits. Complete a Property Information Form if you want to market a property that participates in an affordable housing program and/or has an obligation to provide affordable rent so that renters may know about your property regardless of a vacancy or waiting list opening. If you want to market a specific vacancy, use the online Vacancy Listing Form. Vacancies and waiting lists will be listed in the Private Market Vacancy Report and the Online Directory. Properties eligible to be in HousingLink's Directory of Affordable Housing include properties that participate in a unit-based or project-based housing program or provides support services. Properties located in Northeast Minnesota, South Central Minnesota, or the Twin Cities seven-county Metro area If you receive funding and are obligated to provide affordable rental units in your property, you may list your general property or program information in HousingLink's print and online Directory of Affordable Rental housing. To share information about your property, download, complete, and return one of the following forms.
HousingLink property marketing resources Eligible properties will be listed in one or both of the following resources: Online Directory: An online resource for identifying permanent affordable rental housing options (including subsidized housing) and housing with support services. Includes vacancy information when also provided by property manager/owner. Print Directory: A print resource for identifying permanent affordable rental housing options (including subsidized housing) and housing with support services.
